Mortal Kombat X (2015) - Ladder Mode Relief Concept

A very early concept video for the Arcade Ladder mode in Mortal Kombat X. Each opponent would be presented as a relief sculpture that would be destroyed with each fight. Though the concept evolved, the idea of representing the opponents as a physical, real-world structure (as opposed to a UI overlay) remained, and eventually became the Towers that appear in the final game.
